What our insurance covers, what yours covers, and how people pay for a big removal they didn't plan on.
Our insurance
Crews working for Murfreesboro Tree Co. carry general liability and workers' compensation written specifically for tree work — climbing, rigging, crane operations — not a landscaping policy that excludes it. That distinction matters: if a climber is hurt on your property and the company's policy doesn't cover tree work, you can be the one who pays. We send a certificate of insurance before the job starts, every time, naming you if you want it.
Your homeowners insurance
Standard Tennessee policies pay to remove a tree that fell on a covered structure and to repair the structure, with a capped allowance for debris removal. A tree that fell in the yard and hit nothing generally isn't covered, and preventive removal never is. Our invoices separate removal-from-structure from cleanup so your adjuster can apply the right line, and we photograph everything before it's touched. Full details in the insurance guide.
Paying for it
Most residential jobs are paid on completion by card, check or bank transfer — no deposit until the written price is approved and the work is scheduled. For a big crane removal, a whole-lot clearing or an HOA's row of dead ash, we can arrange financing through a third-party lender, including 12-month same-as-cash terms and longer fixed-rate plans, subject to credit approval; ask when you get your estimate. Terms are in writing before you sign anything.

When the city, an HOA, a buyer or an insurer wants a written opinion on a tree — is it a hazard, is it a landmark-tree candidate, does it need to come down — our ISA Certified Arborist writes it. Small fee, credited toward any work we do.
